Shipping & Receiving Specialist

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Kimball Equipment Company, a leader in the aggregate mining and supply industry since 1946, is actively recruiting for the position of shipping &amp; receiving specialist in our Salt Lake City location. Kimball Equipment Company is a successful dealer for brands such as Terex Cedarapids, Terex Finlay, and Superior Industries. We are growing quickly and are looking for someone motivated to grow with us!</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Properly identifying and accounting for the receipt of incoming goods</li> <li>Assuring no damaged items are sent or received</li> <li>Comparing packing lists to purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list</li> <li>Collaborating with the sales department (internal and external) to ensure information is exchanged quickly and accurately</li> <li>Updating the inventory as products are received</li> <li>Must be able to work well within a team environment</li> <li>Identifying and alerting vendors/purchasing when discrepancies are found.</li> <li>Clearly marking incoming shipments with pertinent info</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of warehouse organization &amp; function</li> <li>Ability to handle physical workload</li> <li>Operation of proper tools including a forklift</li> <li>Ability to multitask and prioritize</li> <li>Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment</li> <li>Strong organizational skills</li> <li>Picking &amp; packing methods</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Pay based on experience</li> <li>Full benefits include 401K, PTO, health, vision, dental, and life insurance.</li> </ul>
