About the role
- Be the go-to expert for practical health & safety guidance across live construction projects, working closely with teams and reporting to management.
- Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and compliance checks while keeping a close eye on daily documentation and on-site activities.
- Support the creation and implementation of Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Construction Safety Plans.
- Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations—driving clear reports and effective corrective actions.
- Deliver engaging toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings that actually make an impact.
- Ensure full compliance with legal requirements, company procedures, and ISO standards (9001, 14001 & 45001).
- Champion a proactive safety culture on site while keeping statutory inspection registers accurate and up to date.
- Minimum 3 years’ hands on experience in the construction industry.
- Recognised Health & Safety qualification (Level 7 or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of current health & safety legislation.
- Proven experience creating and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Valid site credentials (e.g. training cards/ID06) and eligibility to work in-country.
- Full, clean driving licence with flexibility to travel.
