Site Safety Coordinator

font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Keeley Construction is looking to hire a <strong>Site Safety Coordinator</strong> within our Civil Group in Fort Worth, TX.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Conduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Provide safety training and education to workers on topics such as fall protection, proper use of equipment, emergency procedures, and hazard communication.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Create and maintain site-specific safety plans and protocols, including job hazard analyses and risk assessments.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Investigate any accidents, injuries, or near-misses that occur on the construction site to determine the cause and implement measures to prevent future incidents.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ensure that all construction activities comply with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards, as well as company policies.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Oversee the proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, training sessions, and other safety-related documentation.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Identify potential risks and hazards associated with construction activities and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Develop and communicate emergency response plans and ensure that workers are trained on how to respond to emergencies.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Foster a culture of safety among workers by promoting safe practices, encouraging reporting of hazards, and recognizing safe behavior.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to integrate safety into all aspects of the construction project.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">An associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">3+ years of safety-related experience.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and practices with emphasis in construction.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">CSP, CIH, CHST, OHST, CUSP, or similar certification preferred.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">History of safe personal practices and driving record.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to effectively communicate safety policies and procedures to workers, supervisors, and management.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to maintain accurate records, manage multiple tasks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.</span></li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
