<p style="text-align: justify;">Liquid Personnel is recruiting for a social care worker for its client's Children's Disability Residential Service in Clonard, Meath. The primary objective of this post is to provide care and support through a person-centred approach which meets the practical, physical, and emotional needs of residents, with an Intellectual Disability/ABI/Autism.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>To act as a key worker for named Resident where appropriate.</li>
<li>Provide support to residents with their daily plan</li>
<li>Provide support to residents with their individual goals and education.</li>
<li>Provide support to residents with their living skills, eg. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, family visits etc.</li>
<li>Social Care Worker is part of the on-floor duty team and may also be responsible for co-ordination of the shift whilst on duty and for the supervision of other staff under his/her direction.</li>
<li>The Social Care Worker will report to the person in charge and be required to work collaboratively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team in service delivery to residents.</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Essential Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>Candidates must hold a qualification at Level 7 or above that meets the criteria to be registered as a Social Care Worker with CORU.</li>
<li>Knowledge of quality assurance practise and their application to service provision</li>
<li>Have experience working in a residential, respite or day service setting with persons with an intellectual disability.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Person Centred Planning</li>
<li>Knowledge of both clinical and human resource policies and procedures and relevant legislation</li>
<li> Knowledge of National Disability Standards (HIQA)</li>
</ul>
