<p><strong>About the Project:</strong></p> <p><em>Where Winds Meet</em> is an epic open-world action-adventure RPG rooted in the rich legacy of Wuxia.</p> <p>Set during the turbulent era of tenth-century China, you take on the role of a young sword master, uncovering forgotten truths and the mysteries of your own identity.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Content Intern to join our Global Marketing team. In this role, you will support social media content planning, trend monitoring, and community-focused initiatives across key platforms including X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, and Reddit.</p> <p>You will work closely with the User Growth team to identify emerging trends, explore content opportunities, and help develop engaging social media campaigns that resonate with gaming audiences worldwide.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><strong>Social Media Trend Monitoring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor social media platforms including X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and Discord to identify emerging trends, viral content formats, and relevant gaming conversations.</li> <li>Track platform updates, creator activities, and audience interests within gaming communities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Content Research &amp; Ideation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support content planning by researching social media trends, gaming culture, internet memes, and entertainment topics.</li> <li>Assist in brainstorming content ideas and campaign concepts tailored for gaming audiences.</li> <li>Identify timely opportunities to connect game content with broader social media conversations.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Influencer &amp; Community Research</strong></p> <ul> <li>Research gaming creators, influencers, streamers, and community trends across English Community.</li> <li>Monitor competitor and industry social channels to identify best practices and content opportunities.</li> <li>Support influencer and community-related initiatives as needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Social Media Operations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist with content calendar management, publishing coordination, and campaign tracking.</li> <li>Support the preparation of social media copy, screenshots, and other platform assets.</li> <li>Help collect and organize performance data from social media campaigns.</li> <li>Support the development and execution of localized social media initiatives for English-speaking audiences, ensuring content is culturally relevant, engaging, and aligned with community interests.</li> <li>Review social content and community communications from a cultural sensitivity perspective, helping ensure messaging is appropriate and well received by audiences.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Performance Analysis</strong></p> <ul> <li>Monitor content performance and engagement metrics.</li> <li>Assist in preparing reports and identifying content trends, audience preferences, and optimization opportunities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, Social Sciences or a related field.</li> <li>Passion for video games, with a strong interest in action RPGs, open-world games, and online gaming communities. Familiarity with <em>Where Winds Meet</em> or the Wuxia genre is highly desirable.</li> <li>Active user of social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and X (Twitter).</li> <li>Strong understanding of English-speaking social media culture, internet trends, memes, and platform-specific content formats.</li> <li>Demonstrates cultural awareness and sensitivity when engaging with global gaming communities and creating content for diverse audiences.</li> <li>Strong awareness of gaming creators, influencers, streamers, and the broader gaming content ecosystem in English Community.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.</li> <li>Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Proficient in Chinese is highly preferred as the position will have cross team working with game development in China.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
