About the role

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Social Media Executive to support our influencer marketing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant influencers on Instagram and YouTube, evaluating their performance metrics, managing influencer communications, and ensuring strong brand alignment.

This role requires excellent research skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid understanding of influencer marketing metrics and trends.

Key Responsibilities

Influencer Research & Discovery

  • Identify and research relevant influencers across Instagram and YouTube.

  • Use Instagram Search, YouTube Search, hashtags, keywords, and influencer discovery platforms to find suitable creators.

  • Build and maintain influencer databases with accurate profile information.

  • Discover influencers across different niches, audience sizes, and geographic locations.

Influencer Evaluation

  • Analyze influencer profiles and content quality.

  • Evaluate influencer performance using key metrics such as:

    • Engagement Rate (ER)

    • Follower growth

    • Reach and impressions (when available)

    • Audience quality and authenticity

    • Average views and interactions

  • Identify fake followers, suspicious engagement patterns, or low-quality audiences.

  • Assess influencer-brand fit based on content style, audience demographics, values, and niche relevance.

Outreach & Relationship Management

  • Initiate and manage conversations with influencers via Instagram DMs and email.

  • Follow up with influencers regarding collaboration opportunities.

  • Maintain professional communication and build long-term influencer relationships.

  • Track outreach status and response rates.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain influencer outreach trackers and campaign databases.

  • Prepare influencer shortlists and recommendation reports.

  • Coordinate with marketing and internal teams regarding influencer selections.

  • Provide regular updates on outreach progress and campaign readiness.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with Instagram and YouTube research.

  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing and creator ecosystems.

  • Knowledge of influencer discovery platforms.

  • Understanding of influencer metrics, including:

    • Engagement Rate (ER)

    • Reach

    • Audience Quality

    • Views and Watch Time

    • Growth Trends

  • Ability to evaluate influencer-brand fit.

  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple influencer conversations simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in:

    • Google Sheets

    • Microsoft Excel

    • Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Influencer Marketing, Social Media Marketing, or Digital Marketing.

  • Experience using influencer marketing tools and databases.

  • Familiarity with influencer outreach and campaign management processes.

  • Understanding of social media trends and creator economy dynamics.
