Special Work Requirements:  

 

The social services supervisor/expert is expected to: be prepared to work extended hours, including being on call 24/7 according to assigned schedule; operate a motor vehicle safely and according to applicable laws at any time of day or night; lift weight (i.e., picking up children) up to 50 lbs.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Four years of experience in a child welfare or human service program or a related field, including two years in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Office of Personnel Management. OTHER JOB-RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
