<p>Liquid Personnel is recruiting Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Busy Assessment team, based in South Tyneside. This role at South Tyneside Metropolitan Borough Council involves managing complex cases, conducting assessments, and safeguarding children. You’ll work in a supportive, collaborative team with flexible arrangements and regular supervision, delivering high-quality services to children, young people, and families.</p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver statutory social work services in line with legislation and local authority procedures.</li>
<li>Undertake assessments and develop care plans that place the child’s voice at the center of decision-making.</li>
<li>Provide direct intervention to support families in crisis or at risk of breakdown.</li>
<li>Work closely with families, carers, and partner agencies to implement effective support plans.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports.</li>
<li>Participate in supervision and reflective practice sessions.</li>

<p><span data-contrast="auto">To be successful in this role you must have;</span> </p>
<ul>
<li>Social Work England registration.</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the UK.</li>
<li>Full UK driving license.</li>
<li>Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).</li>
<li>Post-qualified experience in children’s services. </li>
</ul>
