<p><span data-contrast="auto">Liquid Personnel is recruiting a </span><span data-contrast="auto">Children’s </span><span data-contrast="auto">Social Worker to join its client’s Child Protection </span><span data-contrast="auto">team, based in Birmingham.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs.</li>
<li>Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams.</li>
<li>Undertake statutory visits and maintain accurate, up-to-date case records.</li>
<li>Intervene in crisis situations to ensure the immediate safety of children.</li>
<li>Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, core groups, and court proceedings.</li>
<li>Work closely with families to promote positive change and improve outcomes for children.</li>
<li>Liaise with schools, health professionals, police, and other agencies to coordinate support.</li>
<li>Provide written reports and evidence for legal proceedings when required.</li>
<li>Monitor and review cases regularly to ensure progress and compliance with care plans.</li>
<li>Advocate for the rights and welfare of children and young people. </li>

<p><span data-contrast="auto">To be successful in this role you must have;</span> </p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Social Work England registration</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Eligible to work in the UK</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Hold a full UK driving licence</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Post-qualified experience</span> </li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Degree level or equivalent in Social Work</span> </li>
