About the role
<div>Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Social Worker for its client’s busy statutory Children and Young People’s Service team. The role involves holding and managing a varied caseload of Children in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) cases, allocated by the Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager. The postholder will undertake high-quality assessments and work closely with multi-agency partners to develop, monitor, and manage effective plans that deliver positive and timely outcomes for children and young people.</div>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Hold and manage a caseload of Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children cases.</li>
<li>Undertake statutory assessments in line with legislation, guidance, and local procedures.</li>
<li>Formulate, implement, monitor, and review child-centred plans to ensure children’s safety and wellbeing.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve sustainable and timely outcomes for children.</li>
<li>Ensure the voice of the child is central to all assessments, planning, and decision-making.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records and reports using electronic systems.</li>
<li>Participate in supervision and reflective practice with the Team Manager or Assistant Team Manager.</li>
<li>Work in accordance with North Yorkshire County Council policies and statutory requirements.</li>

<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Skills and Qualification Required:</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">To be successful in this role you must have;</span> </p>
<ul>
<li>Degree level qualification in Social Work (or equivalent).</li>
<li>Registered with Social Work England.</li>
<li>Post-qualified experience within Children’s Services.</li>
<li>Experience working with CIN, CP, and LAC cases.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of statutory social work legislation and safeguarding frameworks.</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively with families and partner agencies.</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the UK. </li>
