<p><span data-contrast="auto">Liquid Personnel is seeking experienced Social Workers to join its client's</span><span data-contrast="auto"> dedicated Families First team based in Trafford. This service is designed to strengthen assessment and planning for Children in Need, ensuring a consistent, high-status approach to CIN work across the borough.</span><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Assessment & Planning: Undertake comprehensive Child and Family assessments to identify needs and develop robust support plans.</li>
<li>Duty & Investigation: Participate in the team duty rota, which includes conducting Section 47 (S47) child protection enquiries as required.</li>
<li>Case Management: Hold a manageable caseload of children supported through Child in Need (CIN) planning, focusing on achieving positive outcomes within family timescales.</li>
<li>Relational Partnerships: Build strong, trust-based relationships with families and partners to facilitate the safe "step down" of plans to universal or early help services when appropriate.</li>
<li>Locality Working: Work within a specific locality to ensure a deep understanding of community resources and needs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Working Hours and Hybrid Pattern: </span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Office Presence: There is a strict requirement for candidates to be office-based at least 3 days per week.</li>
<li>Team Structure: Teams operate on a rota basis for duty, ensuring a fair and varied workload for all staff members.</li>
<li>Contract: Full-time agency cover.</li>

<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Qualifications and Experience:</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">To be successful in this role you must have;</span> </p>
<ul>
<li>Social Work England registration and a recognized Social Work qualification.</li>
<li>Frontline Expertise: Proven experience in Duty and Assessment or Child in Need services.</li>
<li>Assessment Skills: Strong ability to undertake analytical Section 47 enquiries and risk assessments.</li>
<li>Compliance: Candidates must provide a 5-year reference history (with all gaps checked) and must pass the DfE Recommendation Compliance Questions to be considered for submission.</li>
</ul>
