About the role
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span data-contrast="auto">Liquid Personnel is </span>two experienced Social Workers to join its client's Children’s Court Team based in Wrexham. This is a fantastic opportunity for practitioners with strong court experience to work within a dedicated specialist team managing care proceedings and complex statutory work. The successful candidates will be based at 31 Chester Street, Wrexham, with a hybrid working arrangement requiring 3–4 days per week in the office.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{}"> </span></p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>Manage a caseload of Children’s Court work, including care proceedings under public law.</li>
<li>Complete high-quality assessments, statements, and court reports within set timescales.</li>
<li>Represent the local authority in court and work closely with legal services.</li>
<li>Undertake direct work with children and families to assess risk and promote safeguarding and permanence planning.</li>
<li>Ensure all statutory duties are met in line with legislation, guidance, and local procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate, timely case records using electronic case management systems.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with internal teams, legal professionals, and partner agencies.</li>
<li>Participate in supervision and contribute positively to team working.</li>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span data-contrast="auto">To be successful in this role you must have;</span> </p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>Degree level qualification in Social Work (or equivalent).</li>
<li>Registered with Social Care Wales.</li>
<li>Significant post-qualified experience within Children’s Services.</li>
<li>Essential experience in court work and care proceedings.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, report-writing, and time management skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced statutory environment.</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the UK. </li>
