<p>Liquid Personnel is recruiting passionate and experienced Social Workers to join our client’s Looked After Children Team in Walsall. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.</p>
<p>You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, stability, and well-being of children in care. The position offers a hybrid working model, giving you flexibility while maintaining strong team connections.</p>
<p><strong>What will your responsibilities be?</strong></p>
<ul>

<li><span data-contrast="auto">Develop, implement, and regularly review care plans tailored to each child’s needs.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensure children’s placements (foster care, residential care, kinship care) are safe, stable, and supportive.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Promote the child’s health, education, and emotional wellbeing, ensuring access to appropriate services.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintain regular contact with children through statutory visits and direct work.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepare and present reports for Looked After Child Reviews.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Work closely with birth families, carers, schools, health professionals, and other agencies.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Support children through transitions, including reunification with family, adoption, or leaving care.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Advocate for the child’s voice to be heard in all aspects of planning and decision-making.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>

<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience:</strong></p>
<p>To be successful in this role you must have, </p>
<ul>
<li>Social Work England registration</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the UK</li>
<li>Hold a full UK driving licence</li>
<li>Post-qualified experience</li>
<li>Degree level or equivalent in Social Work</li>
</ul>
