Software Developer - Market Access

<p></p> <div id="main-content" class="wiki-content"> <p><strong>Position Overview:</strong><br>As a Market Access Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, low-latency C++ applications for electronic trading, including order routing and market data processing across various exchanges using specialized protocols.</p> <p>We are seeking a talented software developer with a passion for tackling complex engineering challenges in high-performance environments. This position offers opportunities for technical advancement, leadership, mentoring, and ownership of impactful projects.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="cc01a8e2-0ed4-4233-9df8-db8104827ab6">Collaborate with trading teams, and other technology groups to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.</li> <li data-uuid="560fdcf4-3b3f-4a77-8214-1f5b01dfc5bf">Design, implement, test, and optimize sophisticated market access components such as Order Gateways and Market Data solutions.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="aa1cc842-b8a8-4316-93e3-a1303d901355">Drive hands-on development and ensure reliability, scalability, and performance in all deliverables.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="78c17663-db76-4426-8de6-4696b6ab5522">Contribute to design reviews, architecture discussions, and code reviews.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="05a253bb-7405-4004-8649-0028c81287a8">Promote and enforce best practices throughout the software lifecycle to ensure maintainability and operational excellence.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="45bfddf1-f86e-449b-a896-3615917e093d">Integrate comprehensive testing and validation to maintain system robustness and uptime.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="03dd0aee-e093-47e5-843f-fb13581a4058">Provide Level 2 support and troubleshooting production systems and ensuring service availability.&nbsp;</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="1a824039-44fd-4072-b6a3-02f4907ad8ba">Mentor team members and actively participate in knowledge sharing to foster a culture of technical growth and collaboration.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="1a83d354-1bbb-413a-9d6f-8e0a7a112992">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="f60e5fd0-c6e0-46b7-a5eb-f8a30342ce5b">Minimum 5 years’ experience building software solutions in mission-critical environments.</li> <li data-uuid="53f432d4-c7c1-4c31-ba7b-61cf8212b8d7">Advanced expertise in C++ programming within Linux environments.</li> <li data-uuid="9453d12f-4882-450f-b53a-22ffce297f33">Solid foundation in networking, multithreaded programming, and data structure optimization.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="e78bfa07-1643-436d-84fd-f7dda7919065">Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven experience collaborating in distributed teams.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="53f2ff65-e1e3-411c-b4ea-af44e912a57f">Experienced in designing and delivering high-quality software using modern development practices, including version control and automated testing.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="525c52fa-409d-4c05-9c6b-3ec2e5fb7ebb">Proven skills in Python for scripting and automation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="10c9cec7-0278-4204-9b92-cd0448a13167"><span class="inline-comment-marker" data-ref="b072b98e-72d0-4d55-835e-154fcd080dac">Involvement in development of low-latency, high-throughput trading systems.</span></li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="8ed49d2f-3905-418e-884e-b38124cb90a9">Familiarity with exchange/broker connectivity protocols and financial data formats.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="58647489-87ad-4eb1-82bd-d43b513494a4">Exposure to Market Access technologies for Equities, Derivatives, and other asset classes.</li> <li class="text-start" data-uuid="ea200eb8-904c-4ec8-a760-06204ca5014c">Additional scripting or automation language proficiency.</li> </ul> </div> <div id="likes-and-labels-container"> <div id="likes-section" class="no-print"></div> </div> <p></p>
