Our platform enables brand partners to serve exciting product drops, premium membership benefits, digital product fulfillment, collector-focused experiences, an integrated content hub, interactive community features, and HasLab crowdfunding.</p> <p>As a Software Development Engineer on the Direct-to-Consumer e-commerce team, you will build, improve, and support complex systems that bring Hasbro’s iconic brands to life online. You’ll work to create high-performing, resilient, and innovative systems that power digital experiences for our customers.</p> <p><strong>What you'll do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build scalable, cross-platform applications using a variety of technologies and infrastructure.</li> <li>Design and write maintainable, high-quality features in a team-based development environment.</li> <li>Adhere to and improve coding standards and code integration and deployment processes.</li> <li>Build automated tests and use CI/CD to ensure product reliability.</li> <li>Investigate and resolve issues across unfamiliar codebases and domains, driving solutions that improve performance and user experience.</li> <li>Work with team members and partners to solve customer problems.</li> <li>Contribute to improving team developer experience, documentation, and collaboration.</li> <li>Stay up to date on new technologies and bring forward innovative ideas to enhance the product and platform.<br><br></li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll bring<br></strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of professional software development experience.</li> <li>Experience building and maintaining e-commerce systems.</li> <li>Expertise in Apex, Java, Typescript, React, or similar languages.</li> <li>Experience developing with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, Event Bridge) or equivalent cloud technologies.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively with collaborators and leadership.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Modifier</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working with Salesforce, especially Salesforce Order Management or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.</li> <li>Experience building and supporting third-party integrations, including integrating with payment providers like PayPal, Stripe, etc.</li> <li>Experience with high-scale fulfillment, payment, or order management systems</li> <li>Experience with development practices that prioritize testing.</li> <li>Passion for Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast brands.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin-bottom: 11.0px;"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer</span><br></strong></span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro are committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment.
