<h2>About the Role</h2>
<p>We are seeking a Software Engineer III - Frontend to build and enhance modern, scalable web applications. This role will focus on developing intuitive user experiences, building reusable frontend components, and collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams to deliver high-impact customer-facing features.</p>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, test, and maintain modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript.</li>
<li>Build reusable UI components and contribute to frontend architecture and design systems.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver high-quality features.</li>
<li>Optimize application performance, scalability, accessibility, and responsiveness.</li>
<li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.</li>
<li>Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.</li>
<li>Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.</li>
<li>Contribute across the full stack when needed, partnering with backend engineering teams to design, build, and maintain APIs and services that power frontend experiences.</li>
<li>Leverage AI-powered development tools, coding assistants, and autonomous agents to improve engineering productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance code quality.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvements.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on frontend development.</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices.</li>
<li>Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.</li>
<li>Experience building responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integrations.</li>
<li>Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar.</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to contribute beyond frontend development and work across backend technologies when required.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools, coding copilots, and agent-based workflows to improve software development efficiency.</li>
<li>Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel, and modern CI/CD workflows.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>Experience with Next.js or similar frontend frameworks.</li>
<li>Experience working with design systems and component libraries.</li>
<li>Knowledge of frontend observability, performance monitoring, and optimization techniques.</li>
<li>Experience building enterprise SaaS products.</li>
<li>Experience working in agile and fast-paced product organizations.</li>
<li>Experience building full-stack applications and working with backend technologies.</li>
<li>Experience leveraging AI/LLM-based developer tools to improve productivity and software quality.</li>
</ul>
<p><br>Base Salary Range: <span class="collapsed-field-text">$179,400.00 - $263,120.00</span> . The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board.
