Sr.Software Engineer (CPQ)

Key Responsibilities

• Configuration & Customization: Set up product catalogs, pricing models, approval workflows, and commerce processes within Oracle CPQ.
• Scripting: Write and maintain custom scripts (such as BML and BMQL) to handle complex product logic, pricing, and configurations.
• System Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to integrate CPQ with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and ERP (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud) systems via APIs.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support to resolve functional bugs, address performance issues, and guide end-users.
• Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing, perform environment migrations, and manage release planning. 

Essential Technical Skills

• Oracle CPQ Cloud: Deep understanding of platform architecture, Document Designer, and Configuration/Commerce rules.
• Programming & Markup: Proficiency in BML, JavaScript, JSON, XSL, CSS, and HTML.
• Database/Data handling: Strong SQL skills and experience managing bulk data uploads.
• Enterprise Platforms: Hands-on experience integrating with Salesforce, SAP, or Oracle ERP environments. 

Typical Requirements

• Experience: Typically 4 to 10 years of overall software or IT development experience, with a heavy emphasis on Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) cycles.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
