<h2><strong>Senior Software Engineer</strong></h2> <p><strong>Product Technology (Sourcing &amp; Production)</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> HCMC</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h3><strong>In Short</strong></h3> <p>Our internal Operations in Sourcing and Material Management are growing strongly, and we're looking for a <strong>Senior Software Engineer</strong> to join the <strong>Product Technology</strong> team and establish the foundations of our software support for these critical internal stakeholders. The focus of this role is on designing, developing, and operating digital services that will <strong>improve the speed and efficiency of our vital communications with suppliers</strong> and enhance our overall <strong>material management</strong> operations. You'll be based in <strong>Ho Chi Minh City</strong>, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and Sourcing/Operations stakeholders globally.</p> <h3>&nbsp;</h3> <h3><strong>Your Mission</strong></h3> <p>You will design, develop, and operate the foundational software that supports our Sourcing and Operations teams, focusing on the following:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Establish the Foundations</strong> of our software support for internal stakeholders by providing robust APIs, real-time events, and documentation.</li> <li><strong>Improve the speed and efficiency of our vital communications with suppliers</strong> by building modern, scalable communication tools and interfaces.</li> <li><strong>Improve our operations around material management</strong> by designing and developing systems that offer better visibility, control, and efficiency.</li> <li>Migrate and improve the robustness of our current solutions, ensuring seamless transitions and enhanced system stability.</li> <li>You will iteratively deliver value and quality with your solutions to meet both technical and internal consumer needs.</li> <li>With the team, you will build, release, and operate complex systems. You will own and evolve the architecture that scales for our global operations.</li> <li>Participate in and drive architectural decision-making through RFCs and design reviews to ensure <strong>scalability and resilience</strong>.</li> <li>You will act as an expert in the given technology area, leverage best-in-class engineering practices, including continuous integration and deployment, code reviews, and high test coverage.</li> </ul> <h3>&nbsp;</h3> <h3><strong>Your Story</strong></h3> <ul> <li>You have 5-6 years of backend experience designing, building, testing, releasing, and operating scalable systems with a strong problem-solving mindset and taking full <strong>ownership</strong> and accountability.</li> <li>You have a strong sense of <strong>autonomy and proactiveness</strong>, thriving in a <strong>fast-paced environment</strong>.</li> <li>You have strong experience within the <strong>NodeJS (TypeScript)</strong> eco-system, designing and developing APIs (bonus if you have experience with GraphQL and NestJS).</li> <li>You have experience with ETLs and tools like Hex or Smartsheets, or have the willingness to learn</li> <li>You facilitate discussion as well as guide and mentor your peers by delivering praise and constructive feedback.</li> <li>You also have an interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).</li> <li>You have a product mindset that makes you comfortable in <strong>owning and building features from the ground up</strong>, understanding the “why,” applying holistic thinking and delivering for impact.</li> <li>You enjoy working with Stakeholders, understanding their problems and proposing practical solutions</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese. Chinese is a plus.</li> <li>Bonus points: You have experience working with and designing distributed systems. You are competent in building and designing event-driven systems (e.g., using Kafka). You have mastered automated testing, TDD, and performance debugging tools and you are hands-on with operating the infrastructure on AWS or GCP.</li> </ul>
