Senior Software Engineer

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Panic Button is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on game porting to join our growing team.&nbsp; The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in software engineering teams in the video game industry, with recent and extensive experience in cross-platform console development.<br></span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Requirements</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">4+ years of work experience in gaming</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong knowledge of C++</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to support and maintain existing systems</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to collaborate with other engineers, artists, and designers</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with multithreaded, real-time systems</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience balancing performance and maintainability</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Preferred</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with Unreal Engine or other proprietary engines</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with modern console hardware</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Game industry experience</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with low-level memory management and optimization</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Salary Ranges</span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">$100,000-$200,000</span></li> </ul>
