We have a long roadmap ahead of us and rarely run out of interesting problems to tackle. To name some of the products we are running – we have our own core account/payments infrastructure adapted to a variety of customer segments such as Legal, Real Estate and Notaries.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">We work in full-stack teams, grouped under common domains. As staff engineer you will work on early engineering phases to lay the groundwork for the teams in your area.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What You'll Do</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Own the Architecture:</strong> Define, align, and maintain the target architecture for your domain, ensuring all services and projects follow best practices and long-term technical vision.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Design &amp; Develop Systems:</strong> Build robust, scalable backend services using <strong>Java</strong> and <strong>Spring Boot</strong></span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Lead Through Influence:</strong> Partner closely with the Engineering Manager and other engineers to deliver architectural designs effectively and consistently.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Mentor &amp; Upskill:</strong> Guide, mentor, and support engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Elevate Engineering Practices:</strong> Advocate for best practices in CI/CD, observability, testing, and automation across the team.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What You’ll Need</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>8+ years of experience</strong> building large-scale backend or full-stack applications.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Deep expertise in a backend framework such as <strong>Spring / Spring Boot</strong>.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong problem-solving skills and passion for building user-centric, scalable systems.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Solid understanding of Object-oriented programming &amp; design patterns, Exception handling, memory management, Spring components (controllers, services, repositories, security)</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proficiency in <strong>RESTful API design and development</strong>.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Ability to think strategically, break down complex problems, and drive cross-team alignment.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong communication and organizational skills to influence engineering direction.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Create and Review architectures, code, and design proposals to ensure high standards and alignment.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Work closely with product, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric solutions.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in system performance, reliability, and maintainability.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;
