This is a high-impact, IC-focused role for someone who wants to build scalable AI systems that power real-world decision-making.</p> <h3><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Architect and implement core infrastructure for AI agents and orchestration (e.g., LangChain, custom frameworks)</li> <li>Build and optimize backend services using Python and SQL to support AI workloads</li> <li>Engage with design partners and early customers to validate architecture, use cases, and product direction</li> <li>Develop robust data pipelines and work with large, complex datasets</li> <li>Contribute to agentic application design, grounding LLMs in structured data and business logic</li> <li>Collaborate with AI researchers, product managers, and design to ship production-ready features</li> <li>Collaborate with and mentor junior engineers</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h3> <p><strong>Must-Have Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2-6 years of professional software engineering experience</li> <li>Deep knowledge of <strong>AI engineering</strong> and <strong>agent frameworks</strong> (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar)</li> <li>Strong backend skills with <strong>Python</strong>, <strong>SQL</strong>, and database design</li> <li>Experience working with data systems and building scalable infrastructure</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-Haves:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with <strong>Spark</strong>, <strong>Scala</strong>, or distributed compute frameworks</li> <li>Exposure to AI applications in B2B or enterprise environments</li> <li>Previous experience at an early-stage startup</li> <li>Familiarity with data engineering, ETL pipelines, or analytics workflows<br><br></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why Tellius</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Work at the cutting edge of AI and decision intelligence</li> <li>Small team, big ownership. Equity and benefits are also part of the total compensation package.</p>
