Software Engineer II

Our solutions are easy to use, scalable, and highly performant. Engineers on the team will be called on to research technologies, present their findings, document software design, implement business logic, demonstrate completed work, and collaborate with team members to improve incrementally.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting superior software. They will have good social and communication skills as well as a strong understanding of the fundamentals of the Java Programming Language, including data structures. As part of a highly performant agile team, engineers will participate effectively in daily standup meetings, weekly grooming sessions, and product demonstrations. Engineers will take ownership of features from design to delivery. Successful engineers will work closely with team members to master our software, one component at a time, and make a positive impact on projects as well as team chemistry.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field</li> <li>2+ years software development experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Expertise with data-structures and algorithms</li> <li>Expertise with the Java programming language</li> <li>Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Python, Unix Shell, or others</li> <li>Experience with Linux or Linux-like operating systems</li> </ul> <p>Desired Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Cryptography&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>This position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.</p> <p>The pay range is $89,900 - $121,700.</p> <p>The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is noted above, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience.
