You will work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle</li> <li>Guide and participate in design, development, unit testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported</li> <li>Investigate and resolve complex customer issues</li> <li>Work independently with a minimal level of guidance from technical leadership</li> <li>Review peers' code to ensure quality and adherence to best practices</li> <li>Mentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews</li> <li>Take full ownership of features and initiatives, from requirement gathering to release and monitoring</li> <li>Research, validate, and recommend technology decisions for new features</li> <li>Participate in team activities such as sprint planning and retrospectives to enhance collaboration and project delivery</li> </ul> <p><br><br>Take the first step towards your dream career with Boomi<br><br><strong>Essential Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with some training and on-the-job experience</li> <li>Experience in software development, including the use of some IDE with a solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining a software product</li> <li>Experience with Java, source control systems, and continuous integration tools</li> <li>Experience working in Agile based SDLC and utilizing collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence</li> <li>Experience with Web Services technologies including REST, GRAPHQL, SOAP, WSDL and RPC</li> <li>Experience with Database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)</li> <li>Experience with Unit testing and Test Automation</li> <li>Experience with DevOps tools and practices for continuous integration and deployment</li> <li>Experience with AWS cloud tools</li> </ul> <p><br><br><strong>Desirable Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in software development associate with Java and related technologies and framework</li> <li>Experience using Linux/Unix environments</li> <li>Ability to identify opportunities and apply appropriate design patterns in the right context</li> <li>Experience in handling performance and scalability issues</li> <li>Experience with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems</li> <li>Familiarity using AWS technologies</li> <li>Experience working with APM tools (e.g. NewRelic, AppDynamics)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About Boomi</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Boomi is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
