Senior Software Engineer, Cloud

<h3><span style="font-size: 14pt;">ABOUT THE ROLE</span></h3> <div> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">We are looking for a <strong>Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Infrastructure)</strong> to join the VTEX Network team. This team manages the core connective tissue of our cloud platform, being responsible for CDN, Cloud Connectivity, Ingress, DNS, and Service Mesh.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">In this role, you will tackle one of our most critical engineering challenges: the evolution of our Service Mesh. Currently, VTEX relies on a highly performant, custom-built router (developed in .NET) that acts as our service mesh, processing millions of requests per second and serving as the backbone for all VTEX applications. Experience with <strong>.NET</strong> is a significant advantage, as it will help you understand and refactor our current custom router.
