To enable this, we focus on designs and tools rooted in strong engineering principles like abstraction, composition, virtualization, automation, and iterative development cycles.</p> <p><strong>What You Might Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead technical strategy and execution across development and infrastructure, designing and implementing scalable, secure cloud-native systems while establishing architecture standards and engineering best practices.</li> <li>Own end-to-end delivery of platform and cloud services, including infrastructure buildout, application architecture, APIs, deployment pipelines, observability, reliability, and performance, while mentoring engineers and driving cross-functional alignment.</li> <li>Work with modern containerization and cloud technologies, including Kubernetes.</li> <li>Collaborate across engineering, design, product, and marketing teams to help shape our product vision and deliver exceptional user experiences.</li> <li>Lead the execution of projects across full-stack engineering teams (device, web, backend, infrastructure) with clear communication and coordination.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>10+ years of professional software development experience.</li> <li>Experience architecting and implementing distributed and scalable systems.</li> <li>Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot–based application development.</li> <li>Knowledge of private cloud offerings, focusing on infrastructure layers such as VMs, VPCs, storage, and IAM.</li> <li>Experience deploying services on containerized systems, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Nomad.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of observability and related tools.&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguous environments and distill requirements into actionable solutions.</li> <li>Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across diverse teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in building applications using frameworks like Spring Boot or similar technologies.</li> <li>Experience designing robust and scalable database schemas using databases such as Postgres or DynamoDB.</li> <li>Knowledge of disaster recovery strategies and multi-region development.</li> <li>Experience designing interfaces for diverse consumers, including factory lines, mobile devices, and web applications.</li> <li>Familiarity with software security and systems that manage sensitive user data.</li> </ul> <p>Salary Range: $179,000 - $252,000</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits (Full-Time Employees)<br></strong></p> <p>The salary range for this role is listed above.
