<p>Healthcare-Tech is a division within GovTech, forward-deployed to and collaborating closely with the Ministry of Health (MoH) family (including other agencies and statutory boards), operating like a modern product organisation to solve important and currently underserved problems spanning across Singapore's public Healthcare sector.</p>
<p>We are seeking talented and motivated Software Engineers to join our development teams working on the above sectors. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. <p>[What you will be working on]</p>
<p>As a Senior/Staff Software Engineer:</p>
<ul>
<li>Lead one or more cross-functional agile squads consisting of Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to solicit business requirements & deliver technical solutions</li>
<li>Lead the technical design and architecture of software solutions, ensuring security, scalability, performance, and maintainability</li>
<li>Guide, mentor and work closely with your team to to uplift product engineering competencies</li>
<li>Establish coding standards, best practices, and development processes for your team(s)</li>
<li>Identify and resolve technical debt/risks while balancing feature development</li>
<li>Drive adoption of relevant, up-to-date technologies, practices, and tools in modern software development lifecycle</li>
<li>Drive adoption of AI tools in your team(s) to ensure they raise output quality, not just speed</li>
<li>Lead/Guide Scrum ceremonies, providing technical/product context and removing blockers</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>[What we are looking for]</strong></p>
<p><strong>Technical Skills</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Senior: 5-8 years | Staff: 7-12 years of software engineering experience building reasonably large high-availability systems at scale</li>
<li>Proven track record of leading & delivering technically complex products</li>
<li>Strong experience in modern full-stack web application technologies; experience in modern front-end engineering on Next.Js/React.js/Nuxt/Vue.js and Java/TypeScript/Node.js/Golang on the backend is preferred</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL) and data modeling</li>
<li>Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure and/or GCP</li>
<li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)</li>
<li>Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools</li>
<li>Experience with observability and monitoring tools, especially the ELK stack, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders</li>
<li>Bonus: Led legacy system modernization projects, including transitioning legacy systems to modern platforms</li>
