About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs using frameworks such as Nest.js or Express.js.
- Work closely with frontend, product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Implement scalable data models and integrations with NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Develop cloud-native microservices and deploy solutions on AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint ceremonies.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance and operational efficiency.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Expertise in Node.js with TypeScript
- Hands-on experience creating APIs using frameworks like Nest.js, Express.js, or similar (TS/JS).
- Strong understanding of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Good understanding of SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.).
