About the role
Roles and responsibilities:
- Early detection, mitigation, and prevention of potential production issues
- Learn and comprehend product features to develop a clear, detailed understanding of product testing requirements
- Perform various regression testing processes (feature qc, platform qc, bulk test, completeness test, interruption test, resource usage test, network connection test, translation testing, etc.)
- Collaborate with leads and other team members to determine testing priorities, effort estimates and track and report progress
- Write regression test plans, test cases and usage scenarios to be used for testing, and other documentations as required
- Prepare the test environment and test data
- Execute testing
- Consolidate test results into clear and concise reports
- Create and track tickets for any issues on functionality, usability, performance, reliability, and stability issues
- Work with software test engineers to ensure that any functional issues that may be revealed during the tests are verified and reported.
Requirements
- Education BCA/B.Tech mandate.
- An autonomous thinker with experience in managing your own diary while working to strict deadlines
- A proactive, resilient individual with a positive attitude who is motivated to succeed
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, accuracy, and attention to details
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
