About the role
Key Responsibilities
- You will provide detailed user stories that adhere to best practice standards across a range of projects and programs and write acceptance criteria that are clear, concise and testable.
- Conduct gap analysis to help review and plan to implement change and improvements to achieve our future states
- Define functional and non-functional specifications which will enable users to confirm the functionality and also enable the developers to understand what functionality is required.
- Maintaining and owning the project backlog ensuring items are written to a high level of quality, detailing customer/user requirements, modifying when necessary.
- Attend and lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements, and then document and analyse as required. Capturing detailed processes as well as risks, assumptions and priorities
- Review end-to-end business processes and utilise data to identify opportunities and assist in decision making with the aim of helping the business deliver on its strategic and tactual change initiatives
- Develop detailed process flows for all projects where required adhering to standard working practices.
- Collaborate across the organization, working with various functions and levels to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
- Support the design, protyping and development of our technology solutions through ideation, innovation, and business analysis
- Participate in large-scale, cross-functional projects while also supporting daily development activities within a Scrum framework
- Support multiple projects at one time, ensuring an organised and structured approach to delivery
- Be familiar with running cost benefit analysis to help with prioritising
- Ensure clear communication and documentation to support project sign-off and approvals
- Understand user and customer behaviours to help design customer-centric business solutions with a focus on delivering an outstanding UX
- Identify root causes to help understand the challenges and implement solutions to eliminate issues and reduce variation and waste
- Support and occasionally lead project meetings with the ability to translate business goals into milestones and deliverables
- Be a team player and contribute to testing, validation, and project management activities as required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least 5 years working as an analyst in the software / technology sector across different systems / tools with a full understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in both scrum and kanban agile frameworks
- A full working understanding of Agile metrics and ceremonies including daily standups, retrospectives and burn down charts
- Knowledge of the global supply chain including manufacturing, sourcing and distribution is highly desirable
- Strong experience in elicitation, analysis and documentation of Business Requirements
- Experience of business and system workflows from Front to Back office
- Knowledge of integrating multiple systems and processes is highly desirable
- Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability.
- Significant experience in supporting and delivering a large, complex and diverse organisational projects to tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple highly complex projects to a successful conclusion, with multiple customers/users, using structured methodologies
- Experience of managing others on project teams, lead certain team members regarding systems and processes.
- Ability to work on various types of projects and adapt to each situation seamlessly
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on and complete multiple projects at a time, independently or as part of a team
- Must have fluent level of English (written & spoken)
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Confident in presenting at all levels within organization
- High level of competency in Microsoft applications including Azure DevOps, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Knowledge of Power queries, macros, and advanced formulae is a plus
- Additional experience in other tools such as Figma, PowerBi and Airtable
- An active knowledge of delivering solutions on modern technology including, .NET, C#, SQL, react, APIs
- Ability to work across different markets / regions and with offshore teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders of all levels internally and externally and present information in a way that promotes full comprehension
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail
- Passion for efficiency, problem solving and innovation
