Unlike legacy NoSQL systems, our patented&nbsp;Hybrid Memory Architecture unlocks today’s hardware to deliver unimaginable performance and&nbsp;value for the most demanding data workloads—from the edge, to the core, to the cloud.</p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is a hybrid role.Employees are expected to work from the&nbsp;<strong data-stringify-type="bold">Jakarta office 2-3 times a week.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is a pre-sales position.</span></p> <p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a technically strong solutions architect with experience in working in a&nbsp;customer facing field-presales role to assist with selling our real-time data platform products.</p> <p>The Solutions Architect's responsibilities include maintaining extensive knowledge of the&nbsp;products' features, functions, and processes and assisting in closing sales engagements where&nbsp;technical expertise may be required to fit the client's needs.</p> <p><strong>To be successful as a solutions architect, you should :&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Possess an in-depth technical knowledge of our company's products as well as the<br>technology ecosystem it operates in</li> <li>Architect tailored solutions for the customer with this knowledge.</li> <li>Communicate the solution in a way that is understandable to customers in the context of<br>their requirements.</li> <li>Be driven to achieve your sales goals - should have excellent technical, sales and<br>customer handling skills for this.</li> <li>The ideal candidate is a great listener with a talent for solving technical challenges.</li> <li>This is a field pre-sales position and will require travel for customer meetings as and when needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p> <ul> <li>Discussing and qualifying technical requirements with customers.</li> <li>Collaborating with sales and other teams to progress deals with customers.</li> <li>Architecting solutions to meet the customer’s technical requirements and needs.</li> <li>Performing proof-of-concepts to prove that Aerospike can meet the customer’s requirements.</li> <li>Presenting technical solutions to various levels at a customer including C-level executives.</li> <li>Evangelizing Aerospike at events, meetups etc.</li> <li>Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management, including product managers.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Prerequisites : </strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa</li> <li>Experience in a customer facing presales role working closely with sales teams</li> <li>Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills</li> <li>7+ years of experience in database technology</li> <li>Databases; NoSQL, Relational, Distributed, MPP (E.g. Aerospike, Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra, ScyllaDB, HBase, Couchbase,Yugabyte, CockroachDB etc.)</li> <li>Language: Strong coding skills in at least one language: Java, C/C++, Python, Go,etc</li> <li>Strong skills in Docker and Kubernetes</li> <li>Linux experience is a must</li> <li>Deep expertise in at least one cloud - AWS, GCP, Azure Preferred</li> <li>Knowledge of Spark, Kafka, Flink, Pulsar is a plus</li> <li>Graph or Vector Database/AI-ML experience is a nice to have</li> <li>Infrastructure knowledge; Networking, CPUs, SSDs, Memory, etc</li> </ul>
