SOUS - CHEF

Together with the Head Chef, you help set the structure and direction in the kitchen. Alongside the other sous chef, you oversee daily operations and ensure a smooth workflow. You motivate your team, create a positive working atmosphere and are familiar with all aspects of the sous chef role. With your experience, you act as a coach and motivator for a kitchen team of around eight employees.

By now, we have become a well-known name in Amsterdam-West. With eighteen floors, our hotel offers a spectacular view over the entire city. On the 17th floor, you’ll find Floor17, where you can enjoy delicious cocktails and dishes at 85 meters high.

WHAT MAKES YOU THE SOUS CHEF WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• A completed culinary education (level 3 or 4) or at least two years of experience in a similar role.
• You guide the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef.
• You are a true professional; having a trainer qualification is an advantage.
• Strong product knowledge and experience with HACCP guidelines.
• You handle information responsibly and can contribute strategically.
