About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified English Teacher to join our thriving department in a Good mixed school in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly successful team and contribute to a school with a strong academic record.
About the Role:
- Full-time, permanent position starting January 2025 (or sooner if possible).
- Teach English at Key Stage [3, 4 or 5].
- Develop engaging and stimulating lessons that foster a love for the English language and literature.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment where all students can flourish.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver a rigorous and cohesive English curriculum.

Who We Are Looking For:
- A qualified English Teacher (QTS) with a passion for the subject.
- Experience teaching English at the specified Key Stage is preferred, but we welcome applications from enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) as well.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
- A commitment to fostering a love of learning and critical thinking skills.
