<p><strong>Position: </strong>Southern California - Construction Inspector - Water Main &amp; Water Meter Retrofit Project&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Hourly: </strong>$45.00 - $60.00 per hour</p> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong><strong><br></strong><strong>·</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong>8-hour shift<strong><br></strong><strong>·</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong>Monday to Friday</p> <p><strong>Work Location:</strong> On the road - Southern California (Ventura County, Los Angeles County, &amp; San Diego County)&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Duties:</strong><br>· Water Utility/Pipeline/Water Meter Inspection.<br>· Utilities Water Troubleshooting.<br>·&nbsp;Hot tapping&nbsp;on existing watermains.<br>· Water system installation of new pipelines, replacement, and repairs.<br>·&nbsp;Hydrostatic Pressure testing.<br>· Inspection of various types of pipelines including&nbsp;Ductile Iron pipe.<br>· Inspecting various projects that include but are not limited to Watermain&nbsp;Replacements, Reservoirs, New Installations, Booster Pump Stations, etc.<br>· Overseeing General Contractors.<br>· Ensuring that the projects are in compliance with the codes, construction&nbsp;documents, contracts and meets client’s specifications.</p> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong><br><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be knowledgeable with Ductile Iron Pipe.</li> <li>Must be able to read drawings, plans and permits.</li> <li>Must be able to prepare daily inspection reports using Microsoft word.</li> <li>Must be able to take photos and insert them into daily inspection reports.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em><strong>Please note, if you move forward in the submission process, you will be asked to provide the following below.</strong></em></p> <ol> <li><em><strong>Most updated resume</strong></em></li> <li><em><strong>3-4 Professional References</strong></em></li> </ol> <p><strong>O2EPCM, Inc.&nbsp;</strong>is a prominent award-winning experienced firm providing Professional, Technical, Consulting and Management Services in the Planning, Design, Engineering and Construction Industry to Local, State, Federal Government Agencies, Utility Companies and Private Clients.
