<p><strong>Position Overview</strong> We are seeking a licensed and certified Special Education Teacher to join our Queens team. The ideal candidate holds a Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification and has a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs in a structured, nurturing environment.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Deliver individualized instruction to students with disabilities in alignment with IEP goals</li>
<li>Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to each student's needs</li>
<li>Collaborate with clinical staff, therapists, and families to support student progress</li>
<li>Monitor, document, and report student performance and behavioral data</li>
<li>Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment</li>
<li>Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Valid NYS teaching license required</li>
<li>Students with Disabilities (SWD) certification required</li>
<li>Experience working with children with ASD or other developmental disabilities preferred</li>
<li>Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills</li>
<li>Passion for working with children and making a meaningful impact</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> $75–$100 per hour <strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time <strong>Location:</strong> Queens, NY</p>
