<p><strong>All Positions are for the 2026-2027 SY</strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Positions Available</strong></span><br>Early Elementary ICT&nbsp;<br>Middle School ICT - ELA<br>HS ICT/SETTS - Math</p> <p><strong>Teacher Vision</strong><br>Pharos Academy Charter School is looking for a teacher who is an “uber” kid person. The ideal candidate absolutely loves to teach, train, and push students both academically as well as behaviorally. There is an understanding that messing up and failure is a natural and welcomed part of the learning process. In this teacher’s classroom, all students are treated with dignity at all times and students are taught non-academic skills like hard work, collaboration, kindness, and receiving feedback.</p> <p>In addition to being a kid person, the ideal candidate has a penchant for planning, preparation, using data, and being pushed to excellence. This teacher understands that what happens before students enter the classroom (intellectual preparation) drives what happens in the classroom and ultimately determines student achievement and success levels.</p> <p><strong>PHACS Special Education Model</strong></p> <p>Pharos Academy follows a push-in Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) Model for most grades.&nbsp; Key responsibilities of a SPED teacher include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborating with lead teachers to co-plan lessons &amp; create modified lesson plans based on IEP goals.</li> <li>Identifying and supporting students in need of additional SETTS services (individual or small group).</li> <li>Developing, modifying, and/or updating IEPs in a timely manner.</li> <li>Assessing student’s individual skills and educational needs</li> <li>Monitoring student progress in order to ensure students are on track to meet IEP goals.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p> <ol> <li>Commitment to daily and long-term <strong>lesson planning</strong> and <strong>instructional preparation</strong> to ensure students get the most out of each class.&nbsp;</li> <li>Commitment and drive to constantly learn and improve practice through <strong>implementing feedback</strong> from instructional leadership, peers, parents, and students to better serve and meet the needs of all students.&nbsp;</li> <li>Commitment to <strong>using data</strong> to improve short term and long-term student achievement goals.&nbsp;</li> <li>Full accountability for student academic outcomes and classroom culture and a steadfast <strong>belief that all students can achieve</strong>.&nbsp;</li> <li>Commitment to being a <strong>team player</strong> (crew member) and belief in <strong>Pharos Academy’s core values </strong>and educational viewpoint.&nbsp;</li> </ol> <p><strong>What We Offer You</strong></p> <ol> <li>Highly competitive salary based on performance driving student outcomes. Compensation is earned based on measurable performance benchmarks, rather than tenure. The salary range for this role is $80,000–$115,000, with the opportunity to earn up to $145,000 over time once Mastery is reached.&nbsp;</em><strong><em>Starting salary for new or emerging teachers is $80,000</em></strong><em>. Candidates with 4+ years of experience at a high-performing K–12 school may be eligible for a higher starting salary based on sustained performance and demonstrated results related to our tiered benchmarks.</em></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Full-Time Teacher Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$80,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$115,000 USD</span></div></div></div>
