<p><strong>Full Time Special Needs Nanny – </strong><strong>Barboursville, VA&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>A family in Barboursville, VA 22923 is seeking an experienced and compassionate special needs nanny for their 12 year old with special needs,&nbsp; and their 10 year old. Care is needed starting in mid July for full time, and will transition to part time/after school care in August when school resumes.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Mid July-August 5th</li> <ul> <li>Monday-Friday</li> <li>7:30am-5pm</li> </ul> <li>August 5th- school year</li> <ul> <li>Monday-Friday</li> <li>2pm-6pm (Up to 20 hours per week)</li> </ul> </ul> <p><strong>Family Specifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Smoke-free home</li> <li>One dog in the home</li> <li>Parents value open communication and building a long-term relationship with the right caregiver</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Light housekeeping related to children</li> <li>Meal prep/snack prep</li> <li>Medication reminders/dispensing for 12 year old</li> <li>General childcare</li> <li>Picking up 12 year old from school and transporting home</li> <li>Maintain a safe and nurturing environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior experience or educational background working with special needs children</li> <li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferences:</strong></p> <ul> <li>CPR and First Aid certified</li> </ul> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>$17- $23 per/hour Based on Experience</li> </ul> <p><em>All candidates will be subject to a background check.
