In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. This is done through strategic focus on training and improving staff capability, empowerment, productivity, teamwork, innovation & technology, managing operational risks & strongly collaborating with our business partners in delivering excellent RED service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective operational risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational risks across the organization
• Conduct risk assessments, analyze data, and provide recommendations to senior management on risk mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including regulatory reporting, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any identified gaps or issues
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to business units on operational risk management best practices
• Participate in the development and implementation of key risk indicators and risk appetite frameworks
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the operational risk management program by identifying and implementing process enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and reporting standards related to operational risk management
• Proficient in data analysis, risk assessment, and risk mitigation techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with financial industry best practices and emerging trends in operational risk management
