This role focuses on identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and supporting the development of a strong safety culture across the site. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the specialist conducts audits, inspections, and incident investigations, and provides guidance to ensure consistent implementation of EHS standards and programs.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>• Support and drive ISO certification efforts, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations and continuous improvement of EHS programs.<br data-start="145" data-end="148">• Identify and mitigate workplace hazards across plant operations and administrative areas, including development and review of site-specific safety plans.<br data-start="303" data-end="306">• Conduct daily line walks, audits, inspections, and spot checks to ensure compliance with EHS policies and identify at-risk behaviors or unsafe conditions.<br data-start="462" data-end="465">• Participate in and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.<br data-start="571" data-end="574">• Support equipment reviews, mechanical and ergonomic risk assessments, and ensure safe implementation of new processes and equipment.<br data-start="708" data-end="711">• Assist in implementation and compliance of site-specific EHS programs, including LOTO, confined space, fall protection, and other regulatory programs.<br data-start="863" data-end="866">• Conduct industrial hygiene (IH) sampling, safety inspections, and respirator fit testing, and support emergency response planning and procedures.<br data-start="1013" data-end="1016">• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies
