<p><strong>Location:</strong> Community Children’s Therapies – Green Wrythe Lane (Surrey)</p>
<p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p>
<p><strong>Contract:</strong> Until May 2026 (potential to extend)</p>
<p><strong>Working Pattern:</strong> 30 hours per week (7.5 hours per day, 30‑minute unpaid break)</p>
<p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p>
<p>Pulse is seeking an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join a community‑based children’s therapy service located around Green Wrythe Lane. This role focuses on early years intervention and dysphagia support for children under five, working within a well‑established community team.</p>
<p>You will carry out independent assessments, deliver early communication provision, and contribute to statutory processes, including EHCP reviews. The caseload includes children with a range of developmental needs and disabilities.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Complete independent dysphagia assessments for children in community settings</li>
<li>Conduct early years communication assessments and deliver targeted intervention</li>
<li>Lead and contribute to EHCP reviews</li>
<li>Support children with a range of developmental needs and disabilities</li>
<li>Work with communication aids and devices, particularly for early years</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>HCPC‑registered Speech & Language Therapist</li>
<li>Paediatric dysphagia experience/training (essential)</li>
<li>Experience working with children under 5 (essential)</li>
<li>Confident using AAC/communication aids</li>
<li>Strong background in paediatric community practice</li>
</ul>
