Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Location:

Whittier, CA and surrounding areas

Schedule:

Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 3:00pm-8:00pm; Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm. Candidate can choose to work any partial days/times within those hours.

Compensation:

$40-45/hr depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech therapy to clients in-clinic
• Provide direct treatment under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Follow and implement documented treatment plans developed by a supervising SLP
• Document student progress toward meeting established objectives, and report the information to a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist an SLP during assessment, assisting with formal documentation, preparing materials, and performing clerical duties for a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist

Requirements:

• Possession of valid registration as a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant with the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board
• One year experience working with individuals with speech and language disabilities in a structured environment, preferably in the clinic setting
