This role involves designing scalable solutions, implementing best practices in testing, and driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency. As a technical leader, you will mentor and guide the team in adopting tools like Playwright while identifying and implementing end-to-end validations (UI, API, and data). The ideal candidate is a proactive and adaptable professional with strong technical expertise and leadership skills.</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Design and implement automation frameworks:</strong>&nbsp;Define architecture, standards, and best practices to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.</li> <li><strong>Develop risk-based automation strategies:</strong>&nbsp;Analyze processes, prioritize test automation areas, and establish coverage strategies (e.g., E2E, integration).</li> <li><strong>Provide technical leadership and mentoring:</strong>&nbsp;Train team members on tools like Playwright, software testing techniques, and analytical thinking for automation. Coordinate squad assignments, priorities, and initiative tracking.</li> <li><strong>Offer technical support for projects:</strong>&nbsp;Guide automation initiatives (e.g., content validations, data integration), ensuring technical evolution and proper implementation.</li> <li><strong>Create end-to-end solutions:</strong>&nbsp;Integrate validations across UI, API, and data layers, ensuring functional consistency in automated flows.</li> <li><strong>Standardize and scale automation practices:</strong>&nbsp;Define reusable guidelines and promote replicable solutions across projects and accounts.</li> <li><strong>Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines:</strong>&nbsp;Prepare and adapt workflows for automated execution in pipelines, ensuring reporting accuracy and stability.</li> <li><strong>Analyze and improve processes:</strong>&nbsp;Evaluate results, identify inefficiencies (e.g., flaky tests), and optimize solutions for better performance and reliability.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you’ll need:</strong></p> <p><em>Hard Skills:</em></p> <ul> <li>Expertise in process analysis for identifying automation opportunities.</li> <li>Development of automation frameworks using&nbsp;<strong>Playwright</strong>&nbsp;(TypeScript/JavaScript).</li> <li>Experience in testing architecture design (POM, modularization, best practices).</li> <li>Proficiency in API testing with&nbsp;<strong>Postman</strong>&nbsp;(contracts, validations, business logic).</li> <li>Risk-based automation strategy (impact × probability).</li> <li>Integration of automation workflows into&nbsp;<strong>CI/CD pipelines</strong>&nbsp;(execution, reporting, stability).</li> <li>End-to-end validation across&nbsp;<strong>UI, API, and data layers</strong>.</li> <li>Advanced debugging skills (E2E flows, flaky tests, selectors).</li> <li>Automation for CMS content (not web apps/products).</li> <li>Management of environments, variables, and test data.</li> </ul> <p><em>Soft Skills:</em></p> <ul> <li>Strategic thinking to define what to automate and why.</li> <li>Technical leadership with mentoring capabilities (even without formal authority).</li> <li>Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business perspectives.</li> <li>Analytical mindset for solving complex problems and root cause analysis.</li> <li>Autonomy and initiative to define solutions independently.</li> <li>Focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.</li> <li>Adaptability to work with different technologies, contexts, and projects.</li> <li>Ability to train and scale knowledge across the team.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><span class="normaltextrun"><span lang="EN-GB"><span lang="EN-GB">We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection.
