About the role
ABIS is seeking an experienced Steam Boiler Operator to manage and operate steam boilers within our industrial facilities. The Steam Boiler Operator will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient boiler operations, conducting routine inspections, monitoring system parameters, and performing necessary maintenance to prevent downtime. This role requires strict adherence to safety standards, operational protocols, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor steam boilers to ensure efficient functioning and safety compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of boiler systems and associated equipment.
- Adjust boiler controls and valves to maintain proper steam pressure and temperature levels.
- Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and incidents.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies related to boiler operation.
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for repairs and improvements.
Requirements
- Relevant certification or license as a Steam Boiler Operator.
- Proven experience operating and maintaining steam boilers in industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of boiler systems, safety protocols, and operational standards.
- Ability to perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
