Most of all, we strive for a culture where our employees view us as one of the best places to work.    Job Description:  The Store Associate provides necessary support for dispensary operations either in Front of House (FOH) or Back of House (BOH) as needed.  In FOH, the Store Associate will provide outstanding customer service while assessing the needs of each customer to fit them with the best product. In BOH, the Store Associate will be responsible for all aspects of physical and digital inventory maintenance within the company and the processes associated with inventory control such as packaging, stocking, intake of all products, and inventory compliance. The Store Associate is a lifelong learner who is passionate about Cannabis and dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience. Core Responsibilities:  Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:  Front of House <ul> <li> Greet all customers in a positive and professional manner.</li> <li> Provide exceptional customer service while accurately entering and processing customer information/transactions.</li> <li> Quickly and precisely handle cash and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.</li> <li> Actively listen with the intent to understand & make appropriate product recommendations to customers as needed.</li> <li> Clean, stock, and organize dispensary.</li> <li> Work cohesively with all departments as part of family/team environment.</li> <li> Occasionally work on special projects and assignments designated by management.</li> <li> Maintain quality customer service by establishing and enforcing company standards and handling customer inquiries or complaints.</li> <li> Verify patient/customer allotment and ensure they are eligible to make purchases using the state system.</li> <li> Participate in ongoing education and professional development as needed.</li> <li> Additional duties as assigned by management.</li> <li> Perform all duties in a compliant manner.</li> </ul> Back of House <ul> <li> Assist in inventory audits.</li> <li> In-taking of medicated products.</li> <li> Restock product to sellable locations.</li> <li> Display understanding of COAs and compliance standards.</li> <li> Capable of leading daily counts and reporting to accounting.</li> <li> Pinpoint and verify variances in live inventory.</li> <li> Additional duties as assigned by management.</li> <li> Perform all duties in a compliant manner.</li> </ul> Commitment & Dependability:  <ul> <li> Willingness to be an integral member of a successful team.</li> <li> Dedication to provide the highest levels of service.</li> <li> Excellent attendance and reliability.</li> <li> Adherence to company policies and procedures.</li> <li> Expectation to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.</li> <li> Properly handle confidential customer information and other non-public company proprietary information.</li> </ul> Qualifications and Education:  <ul> <li> Must be at least 21 years of age.</li> <li> Must be able to pass a background check to obtain, and maintain, a Facility Agent card in accordance with Arizona State Department of Health Services requirements.</li> <li> High School Diploma or equivalent.</li> <li> 2 years of retail and/or customer- facing experience preferred.</li> <li> Cannabis retail or education experience preferred.</li> <li> Product Knowledge: must be familiar with the variety of methods used for Cannabis consumption.</li> <li> Must be able to effectively address customers' concerns and complaints.</li> <li> Be professional in appearance, actions, and verbal communication.</li> <li> Must have cash handling experience and excellent mathematical skills.</li> <li> Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy atmosphere.</li> <li> Ability to remain compliant in a highly regulated role.</li> <li> Demonstrate strong oral and written communication with customers, coworkers, and management.</li> <li> Knowledge of basic computer skills and point-of-sale software.</li> <li> Ability to solve problems in an efficient and professional manner.</li> <li> Strong attention to detail.</li> <li> Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts as scheduled and needed.</li> </ul> Physical Requirements:  <ul> <li> Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and use of hands.</li> <li> Frequently required physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.</li> <li> Frequently stooping, bending, and reaching.</li> <li> Must work indoors and outdoors year-round.</li> <li> Must work in noisy and crowded environments.</li> <li> Lift 25-50 pounds from the floor to a waist-high table when necessary.</li> <li> Crouch & bend often.</li> <li> Stand for short/ high periods of time.</li> <li> Sit for short/ medium periods of time.</li> <li> Walk for short/high periods of time.</li> <li> Occasionally sit on the floor or at floor level.</li> <li> Handle the responsibilities and routine stress often associated with this position.</li> </ul> Certifications or Training Requirements:  <ul> <li> New Hire Orientation & Security Training – New Hire.</li> <li> Store Associate Training- New Hire.</li> <li> Cannabis Education course – New Hire.</li> <li> Additional annual or ongoing training as assigned by management.</li> <li> Maintain active Arizona Facility Agent Card – Biannual or as dictated by Arizona Department of Health Services.</li> </ul> Disclaimer: This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
