The successful candidate will have experience selling into healthcare environments. They will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies aimed at driving revenue through high-value sponsorship opportunities, strategic partnerships with aligned B2B brands and premium thought leadership and content partnerships, working closely with key stakeholders and clients to deliver innovative sponsorship solutions that align with industry-leading events and content platforms.  This is a hybrid position that will require working in the London office 2-3 days a week. Working hours are normally Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation:  <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li>Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow revenue through the sale of sponsorship opportunities for events, webinars, and thought leadership / special reports topics and content. </li> <li>Identify, target, and secure special report /event sponsorship opportunities with new and existing clients, ensuring high-value partnerships and strong ROI. </li> <li>Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets. </li> </ul> Client Relationship Management:  <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with high-level clients, including C-suite executives and marketing decision-makers. </li> <li>Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate sponsorship opportunities that align with their brand objectives and target audience. </li> <li>Deliver customised sponsorship packages tailored to clients’ specific goals and industries.</li> </ul> Thought Leadership: <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li>Create and sell thought leadership opportunities with aligned brands, including whitepapers, roundtables, conference speakers profiles, and sponsored print, video and digital content.</li> <li>Work with internal content teams to create and deliver premium content that positions clients as industry leaders and influencers. </li> </ul> Event Sponsorships:  <ul style="text-align: justify;"> <li>Lead sales efforts for sponsorship opportunities at major events, including conferences, summits, and webinars. </li> <li>Collaborate with the event management team to design sponsorship packages that enhance event visibility and audience engagement. </li> <li>Ensure all sponsorship agreements are executed successfully, delivering value for both the sponsor and the event. </li> </ul> Other Projects:  <ul> <li style="text-align: justify;">Collaborate with US Newsweek team where required.</li> <li>Take the initiative to lead and implement additional projects as required by your line manager. </li> <li><span data-ccp-parastyle="Table Paragraph" data-ccp-parastyle-defn="{"ObjectId":"b46c0d54-a6e9-5ff7-9efa-33f88570c2ad|1","ClassId":1073872969,"Properties":[469777841,"Calibri",469777842,"Calibri",469777843,"Calibri",469777844,"Calibri",469769226,"Calibri",201342446,"1",201342447,"5",201342448,"1",201342449,"1",201341986,"1",268442635,"22",469775450,"Table Paragraph",201340122,"2",134234082,"true",134233614,"true",469778129,"TableParagraph",335572020,"1",335559685,"837",469778324,"Normal"]}">Any other reasonable duties to meet the needs of the business. </li> </ul> Requirements: <ul> <li>Significant relevant experience developing and executing sales strategies for sponsorship opportunities </li> <li>Data Analysis and content research experience is desirable  </li> <li>Excellent command of the English language </li> <li>Driven sales mentality with an ability to intelligently persuade </li> <li>Empathy & listening skills, authenticity </li> <li>The ability to work independently and manage one’s schedule </li> <li>High initiative and agility, suited to a start-up culture </li> <li>Good understanding of and curiosity towards the industries being researched </li> <li>Eagerness to travel and explore the world </li> </ul> Preferred: <ul> <li>Sales and marketing qualifications </li> <li>Bilingual language skills is a plus </li> </ul>  <div class="content-conclusion">Newsweek is an equal opportunity employer.
