Galvanize is structured to rapidly identify and execute on investment opportunities created by the energy transition, across all sectors of the economy.</p> <h3><strong>Role</strong></h3> <p>The Strategy Associate sits within the Galvanize Platform and plays a central role in advancing the firm’s investment capabilities and strategic growth.<br><br>This is a high-impact, cross-functional role working closely with investment teams and senior leadership. The Associate develops cross-asset insights, supports firm-wide strategic initiatives, and engages externally with leaders across climate, industry, and finance.<br><br>The role blends analytical rigor with ecosystem engagement and execution. You will generate market insights to inform investment decisions, activate a global network of partners, and design high-impact convenings that shape dialogue across the energy transition.</p> <h3><strong>Essential Job Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong><em>Strategy Initiatives &amp; Research</em></strong> <ul> <li>Develop high-quality materials to support firm-wide strategic initiatives, partnerships, and growth efforts</li> <li>Conduct targeted deep dives on priority themes (e.g., cross-firm investable opportunities across the nuclear supply chain, climate physical risk, or carbon markets)</li> <li>Produce market maps, thematic analyses, and internal briefings that inform investment and partnership decisions</li> <li>Synthesize insights across teams and asset classes into clear, actionable outputs for internal and external audiences<br><br></li> </ul> </li> <li><strong><em>Network Development &amp; Value Creation</em></strong> <ul> <li>Help manage and activate Galvanize’s global network, including corporates, investors, NGOs, and industry bodies</li> <li>Capture insights from network interactions and translate them into actionable inputs for investment teams</li> <li>Drive follow-ups, introductions, and relationship development across key stakeholders</li> <li>Support portfolio companies through strategic introductions, partnerships, and go-to-market efforts</li> <li>Contribute to external initiatives (e.g., working groups, partnerships), with the opportunity to represent Galvanize over time</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong><em>Convening Strategy</em></strong> <ul> <li>Design and execute strategic convenings (e.g., roundtables, executive dinners) that bring together senior leaders across climate, industry, and finance</li> <li>Drive key components of the Galvanize Solutions Summit, including content strategy and partner engagement</li> <li>Capture and synthesize insights from convenings to inform firm strategy and investment activity</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Strong alignment with Galvanize’s mission to accelerate and scale climate solutions</li> <li>2–4 years of experience in consulting, investing, partnerships, or a high-growth operating environment</li> <li>Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to distill complex market, policy, and business information into clear insights and actionable outputs</li> <li>Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and execute against tight timelines</li> <li>Experience working across stakeholders (e.g., corporates, investors, startups), with strong relationship management and communication skills</li> <li>Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and support cross-functional initiatives</li> <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing presentations and external-facing materials</li> <li>Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong ownership and follow-through</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Additional Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience in climate tech, energy transition, or sustainability-related sectors</li> <li>Familiarity with multiple asset classes (e.g., venture, growth, credit, real estate, public equities)</li> <li>Experience planning or executing events, convenings, or external engagement strategies</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></h3> <ul> <li>The estimated base salary range is $125,000 - $150,000, with placement within the range based on relevant experience</li> <li>Role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus   </li> <li>Generous benefits package, including employer-paid health coverage options  </li> <li>401(k) plan with employer match  </li> <li>25 days of PTO which is inclusive of vacation, personal time and sick leave  </li> <li>Monthly wellness benefit that covers a broad range of activities  </li> <li>Annual stipend for employer-sponsored professional development opportunities </li> <li>16-weeks paid parental leave for parents of any gender&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
