About the role

Our client is a rapidly growing company specializing in the production and supply of steel structures and metal products, working on projects in more than 15 European countries. The main markets include Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and the Baltic States.

The company’s engineers contribute to infrastructure, industrial, energy, port, bridge, tunnel, and defence-related projects, where reinforcement volumes are measured in hundreds or even thousands of tonnes. Project examples include Stegra / H2 Green Steel, E09 Haga–Rosenlund, Fehmarnbelt Tunnel, Rail Baltica, Follo Line Railway Tunnel, Stockholm Norvik Port, Klaipėda Quay Infrastructure, Hamina Data Centre, and others.

As part of its continued growth, the company is currently inviting a Junior Structural Design Engineer to join the team. The person in this role will be responsible for designing reinforcement products.

This is not a position where you simply prepare drawings. Here, you will work on real European projects — from analysing client drawings to preparing production-ready models, specifications, and installation drawings.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Designing rebar products and entering them into the production preparation software;
  • Detailing rebar products in Tekla Structures based on drawings provided by the client;
  • Preparing installation drawings and specifications for rebar products;
  • Communicating with clients and coordinating structural solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 0.5–1 year of similar work experience with 3D rebar modelling and drawing preparation using Tekla Structures;
  • Education in civil engineering;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Proactivity, attention to detail, and motivation to learn;
  • English language skills.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Hybrid work model;
  • Training is provided, with continuous development planned in the fields of design and production;
  • Work in a rapidly growing steel manufacturing company;
  • Work with BIM technologies and advanced software packages;
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale projects at the European level;
  • Opportunity to learn from a market-leading team.

SALARY

EUR 1,500–1,700 net, depending on experience, qualifications, and competencies.

We will contact only selected candidates.
