Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and design calculations for various building types and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to integrate design solutions within multidisciplinary projects.
- Prepare technical reports, design documents, and specifications for project deliverables.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in structural engineering practices, codes, and technologies.
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
- Strong proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, etc.) and CAD tools.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience managing projects and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
