Job Description:
The Structural Engineer Apprentice is responsible to plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
•Provide drawing for designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers/Drafters
•Research design options and document findings for project lead engineer
•Coordinate work with other disciplines such as mechanical and electrical
•Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents
•Read and understand building codes, construction specifications and drawings
•Promptly report any critical risks to the Higher ups.
•Perform day to day tasks as assigned
Skills and Experience:
•Graduate preferably Post Graduate qualification in Structural / Civil Engineering
•Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
•High level of working knowledge in Staadpro latest version
•Knowledge of connection design software’s such as Limcon, Masterseries & Ram connection will be added Advantage.
•Should be open to visit Client Project site across the globe, as and when need arises.
•Excellent attention to detail
•Must be able to work cross functionally with team members at all levels across multiple departments involved in different projects
