POSITION: Substitute (all subjects and grade levels)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ASM is regularly looking for both, substitute Teachers and Teaching and Learning Assistants, who are available on-call to cover for short term or daily substitutions. You will be required to carry out the tasks of the absent teacher for whom you are substituting and will be responsible for delivering lessons based on the lesson plans outlined by the full-time teacher. Depending on the type of teacher absence, substitute teachers may report to a classroom with as little as a few hours’ notice; for this reason, substitute teachers should have teaching experience and knowledge of the subject matter.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
We are looking for qualified substitute teachers for the following grade levels:
- Early Childhood: teacher and assistant teacher
- Elementary: homeroom teacher, assistant teacher
- Secondary: all subjects
- Specialists: Reading Specialist, Librarian, PE, Special Ed, ELL, SLL, CLL, Art, Spanish

- Clearance of sexual offenders from your country of birth (FBI report in USA, Certificado de Delitos sexuales in Spain, etc). It must be uploaded to complete this application
- Documentation to prove that you are eligible to work in Spain like NIE or DNI
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Working hours: 8:45 A.M. - up to 4.45 P.M. depending on the type of substitution required.
Native or at least C1 English level required
