As part of Burson and WPP, we combine the agility and expertise of a specialist technology firm with the resources and reach of a global powerhouse. We're intrapreneurs: a small, nimble team inside a powerful international network, and that's exactly how we like it.  About the Role  We're seeking an aspiring communications professional for our paid 12-week summer internship. You're an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial individual with a keen curiosity for the ever-evolving tech landscape, eager to explore both B2B and B2C communications.   Dive headfirst into real-world projects, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in client service, research, and media relations with our leading tech brands. Launch your career, contributing directly to impactful campaigns from one of our U.S. offices: Austin, San Francisco, or New York.  What You'll Do  Amplify Tech Stories:  <ul> <li>Support our PR teams in executing communication strategies for leading B2B and B2C tech clients. </li> <li>Assist in crafting compelling content, including press releases, media alerts, blog posts, and website copy, bringing tech narratives to life. </li> </ul> Navigate the Media Landscape:  <ul> <li>Research media outlets and identify key journalists for targeted outreach. </li> <li>Draft engaging pitch emails and follow up to secure valuable media coverage. </li> <li>Monitor media coverage, track industry trends, and analyze insights for client reports. </li> </ul> Power Strategic Events:  <ul> <li>Support the planning and execution of PR events, from product launches to industry conferences. </li> <li>Assist with event logistics, coordination with vendors, and on-site media relations. </li> </ul> Collaborate & Contribute:  <ul> <li>Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and client calls, bringing your fresh perspective to problem-solving. </li> <li>Maintain essential media lists and editorial calendars, ensuring seamless workflow. </li> </ul> You Bring  A Communications Spark:  <ul> <li>Genuine enthusiasm for the technology industry and a passion for telling its stories. </li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong proofreading abilities. </li> <li>A proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities. </li> </ul> Organizational Agility:  <ul> <li>Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently. </li> <li>Meticulous attention to detail in all your work, from research to reporting. </li> </ul> Foundational Tools:  <ul> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for creating professional documents, presentations, and reports. </li> <li>Media intelligence platforms (Brandwatch, Signal AI, Muck Rack)  </li> <li>AI tools (ChatGPT and emerging technologies) </li> </ul> To Apply: Answer these three questions included with your resume to <a href="mailto:HR@axicom.com">HR@axicom.com</a>   <ul> <li data-leveltext="" data-font="Symbol" data-listid="6" data-list-defn-props="{"335552541":1,"335559685":720,"335559991":360,"469769226":"Symbol","469769242":[8226],"469777803":"left","469777804":"","469777815":"multilevel"}" data-aria-posinset="4" data-aria-level="1">We believe great stories bring technology to life.
